  • Journal or notebook
  • Pen / pencil
  • Comfortable clothing

PLEASE NOTE: You are encouraged to bring whatever supports you require to ensure your physical comfort during the training (pillow, chair cushion, etc.). There will be opportunity for practice, experiential learning, movement, walking meditation outdoors in nature on the campus grounds, stretching or shifting to chairs in order to provide variety.

The training is being held in the student residence conference facilities at Humber College, located on the campus map in building RT. A new tiered parking lot is being built so instructions about parking will be provided closer to the training date. Parking is $7 on weekdays and free on weekends.

Since the training takes place in September after the students are back on campus, it will not be possible to book a residence room for on-site accommodations. However, a block of rooms is being held at the Sandman Signature Hotel at the reduced rate of $139 + HST per night. The deadline to book a room at the discounted rate is August 6.

The workshop will take place from 9am to 5pm daily, starting at 8:30am on day 1. There will be a 90 minute lunch break daily to allow time for meals or to wander the grounds.
